Write / Read Consumer Reviews at Camp-California.com!
Camp-California.com has a new feature!
For some time now, campers have had the resource of a letter grade to help them select a campground or RV park. These letter grades were compiled as a result of campers rating their camping experience at specific campgrounds. Now, campers are encouraged to write comments about the park and their stay.
These written comments are displayed on the "Reviews" tab in each park's listing (click here to see the reviews for Anaheim Resort RV Park ). If there are not reviews yet for a specific park, the reviews tab displays the "Rate This Park" form.
Remember, after you've gone camping, be sure to return to the website and write a review at Camp-California.com. Your fellow campers will appreciate it!
Do you use GPS to find your campground?
It's well known that GPS directions are not always accurate, but they sure can be a help when navigating unfamiliar territory.
We're conducting a poll about the use of GPS. To date there have been 181 participants with 47% reporting they use a GPS in conjunction with printed/written directions. An additional 33% use a GPS alone, while 20% do not have a GPS.
What about you? Please chime in with your response! Visit the Camp-California.com home page to take this one-question poll.

Going GREEN - Tips for RVers
Getting Rid of those Pesky Ants…
One of my biggest frustrations is pulling into an RV site, getting settled and waking up the next morning to a dark black line of ants parading into the RV. I usually reach for some version of insecticide. But is there a greener way? Here are a few surprisingly “green” solutions:
1. Make sure there are no open food or water containers outside your rig
2. Pour lemon juice around areas ants frequent.
3. Sprinkle cinnamon or place in cheesecloth bags in affected areas.
4. Baking soda can deter ants - pour a solid line in areas of activity and they won't cross it.
5. A ring of coffee grounds around sensitive plants can discourage ants.
6. Ants hate vinegar; so spray it around doorways and other areas they frequent to repel them. A small container of vinegar mixed with honey placed in affected areas appears to do the trick too.
7. Pour a line of baby powder.
